How to File a Criminal Report Online

If you have been a victim of certain crimes and the details of your event meet certain criteria, you will be able to report a crime online. To be able to do so, all of the following must apply:

1. This is not an emergency
2. The incident occurred within the City limits of Sunnyvale
3. You do not know the suspects and there is no evidence (license plate number etc.) that could lead to the identification of a suspect
4. The incident did not occur on a state freeway
5. The incident type is one of those listed below
